Advertisement For Bidders – Fire Station 404

Sealed proposals will be received by the West Licking Joint Fire District until 1:00 p.m. local time, at 851 East Broad Street SW, Pataskala, Ohio 43062 attention Ms. Laurie Mayle, Administrator: Wednesday August 24, 2022; at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for all labor, material and services necessary for the:

West Licking Joint Fire District
New Fire Station 404
Pataskala, Ohio 43068

all in accordance with documents and any addenda thereto, prepared by Moody Nolan Inc., Architects for said work.

The bidding documents may be reviewed without charge during business hours at the three locations following:

Builders Exchange:
Central Ohio, Dayton, Ohio and North Canton, Ohio

Printed Contract Documents may be purchased for cost.  Actual costs for the documents will be priced at ARC Document Solutions. All Contract Documents will be forwarded shipping charges collect. The successful bidder is responsible for all additional sets they may require.

Contract Documents can obtained on-line by email bhouser@moodynolan.com whereas bidders will be asked to register with their company contact information for future addenda and pre bid notifications and be subsequently given the ftp site address and password information.

All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty meeting the requirements of Article 3B of the Instructions to Bidders. A single contract will be awarded for this Project. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

A non-mandatory pre‑bid conference will be held at 851 East Broad Street SW, Pataskala, Ohio 43062, Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 2:00 PM. Contractors’ may schedule to visit the site through the Owner. Selected firms will be interviewed for scope review August 26, 2022.

Bidders shall note that the Prevailing Wage Rates published by the Department of Labor are to be complied with throughout the project.  Bidders shall also note that the Rules and Regulations on Equal Employment Opportunity (Executive Order 11246 & 11375) shall be made a part of this contract.  Each bidder must insure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex, or national origin.

Estimate of base bid construction is $5,800,000. Owner is responsible for tap fees, permit fees and aid to construction. Project is tax exempt. A single contract will be awarded for this Project. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

The Ownerreserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids.
